We offer biweekly peer support group meetings, private Facebook groups, and educational in-services to learn how to support someone experiencing an eating disorder.

Eating Disorder Peer Support Group
Our biweekly peer-led support group is for adults who struggle with disordered eating or eating disorders. This meeting is a safe, inclusive, and judgement-free space to find community and listen or be heard. Open to all Canadians 18+. No diagnosis required.
Group meetings are every other Monday from 6:30 to 8 pm PST (except for holidays). Extra meetings may be held if there is enough interest and facilitators available.
Please check our private Facebook group or email us for confirmation. The zoom link is posted on the day of the meeting.

Trigger Warning
Facilitators are peers with lived and living experience in varying places of recovery (as defined by them) and do not provide therapy. We encourage you to seek professional support. Some topics of discussion may be triggering and we encourage you to plan for extra support to meet your unique needs.
We are not:
- A crisis service.
- A healthcare provider.
- A replacement for mental health care.
We complement existing services; we do not replace them.
What to Expect:
If there are no attendees, our meeting host will keep the group space open for 15 minutes before closing.
We will begin with a short check-in to share goals, gratitudes, victories, and milestones before we open space for folks to share as they feel comfortable. Most of our groups are small and informal. There is no requirement to share if you don’t feel comfortable.

Educational In-services
Our peer volunteers are happy to provide educational in-services on how to support someone experiencing an eating disorder. Although everyone’s needs are unique, we can provide suggestions for what things we found helpful for ourselves.
We are not qualified to provide professional education on eating disorders or medical training. Our goal is to share ways to be supportive from the perspective of lived experience.
Email us to book a consultation if you are interested in learning more about how you can support a loved one experiencing an eating disorder.
Educational in-services are provided free of charge. If you have the means to make a donation, we will gratefully accept your contribution.
