VIVED is hosting a special EDAW-themed meeting to commemorate national Eating Disorder Awareness Week 2026. Our meeting format will be the same as a regular meeting, but we will also hold space for any topics that may come up during this week of awareness.
The VIVED Eating Disorder Peer Support Group is a biweekly peer-led support group for adults who struggle with disordered eating or eating disorders. This meeting is a safe, inclusive, and judgement-free space to find community and listen or be heard. Open to all Canadians 18+. No diagnosis required.
Meetings are held biweekly every other Monday (except holidays) from 6:30-8:00 PM PST. If there is enough interest and available facilitators, additional meeting dates may be offered. Check our private Facebook group for updates, we post zoom details there on the day of the meeting. If you don’t have a Facebook account, email us to request the zoom link.
Special Note:
Facilitators are peers with lived and living experience in varying places of recovery (as defined by them) and do not provide any therapy. We encourage you to seek professional support. Some topics of discussion may be triggering and we encourage you to plan for extra support to meet your unique needs.
